Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Bunki LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use The Alopecia Confidence Score (the "Assessment") or any related website pages we operate (collectively, the "Service").
We've tried to write this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email arron@arronjohnson.com and we'll explain.
Who we are
The Service is operated by Bunki LLC, founded by Arron Johnson, author of Hairless But Fearless. The Alopecia Confidence Score is a reflective coaching tool built specifically for professionals navigating alopecia. It helps you measure where your appearance is shaping your presence across five domains — Professional Confidence, Identity & Self-Image, Social Visibility, Emotional Resilience, and Readiness for Support — and surfaces a recommended next step based on your archetype.
What we collect
When you use the Service, we collect only what's needed to deliver your results and stay in touch if you've asked us to:
- Your name and email address, which you provide on the results-unlock form.
- Your assessment answers — your selections across the ten questions, your overall Confidence Score, your scores across the five domains, and your resulting archetype.
- Your optional written reflection in response to the open question shown before your results. This is voluntary and you can skip it.
- Basic technical information sent automatically by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type, and timestamps. This is handled by our hosting provider (see "Service providers" below) and is not used for advertising or profiling.
We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics cookies, or social-media pixels on this Service.
How we use it
- To generate and deliver your personalized results, recommended next step, and clarity-call invitation.
- To email you a copy of your results so you can return to them later.
- To send you occasional emails from Bunki LLC related to professional confidence, coaching, the book Hairless But Fearless, or upcoming offerings. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve the Assessment — for example, by reviewing aggregated, non-identifying patterns in how people respond.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
About the optional written reflection
If you choose to write a response to the open question ("What has been the hardest part of navigating alopecia as a professional?"), that response is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the personalized coaching reflection shown on your results page. We submit only the text of your response plus your assessment outcome. We do not include your name or email address in that request.
Anthropic processes your response under its own privacy practices and, per its API terms, does not use it to train its models. The reflection is shown to you on the results page; we do not store the reflection beyond the duration of your session unless we receive your name and email via the form, in which case a copy of your inputs and results may be retained as part of normal email and CRM operations.
Service providers
We use a small set of trusted vendors to deliver the Service. Each one only receives the information needed to do its job.
- Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic — generates the personalized coaching reflection from your optional written response. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Make (Integromat) — receives form submissions and routes them to our email and CRM systems. See Make's Privacy Notice.
- TimeTuna — handles scheduling for clarity calls if you choose to book one. See TimeTuna's Privacy Policy.
- Email and CRM — the service we use to send you a copy of your results and any follow-up emails. We will identify the specific provider here as soon as it is connected to the live Assessment.
How long we keep your information
We retain your name, email, and assessment outcome for as long as you remain subscribed to our list, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Your written reflection, if you provided one, is retained only as long as needed to deliver and review your results.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can email arron@arronjohnson.com to:
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Unsubscribe from any of our emails. Every email also includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
If you are a resident of California, the EEA, or the UK, you have additional rights under applicable laws — including the right to object to certain processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. We honor those rights regardless of where you are located.
Children
The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you provide. No system is perfectly secure, however, so we encourage you to share only what you're comfortable sharing in any online form.
This is not medical or psychological advice
The Alopecia Confidence Score is a reflective, self-assessment tool for personal and coaching purposes. It is not a clinical evaluation, does not constitute medical or psychological advice, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified mental-health professional.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email.
